The Aero Club of Washington hosted the 62nd annual Wright Memorial Dinner on Friday, December 11, 2009 , at the Washington Hilton Hotel. The dinner honored the 2009 recipient of the NAA Wright Brothers Memorial Trophy,
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy.
The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) announced that Steven F. Udvar-Hazy will receive the prestigious 2009 Wright Brothers Memorial Trophy for “innovative aerospace business practices, improved aircraft design, piloting skills, and selfless philanthropy ensuring preservation of our aerospace history."
