Alexander Graham Bell Invitation

Aero Club of Washington staff member, Nancy Hackett, was contacted by Don Bassett of Illinois about the above invitation he found in a box of books purchased at a yard sale. It is an invitation to a party hosted by Alexander Graham Bell, who was an Aero Club Board member at one time. The party was held to introduce Glenn Curtiss and the officers of the Aero Club. Glenn Curtiss was a well regarded inventor and aviation pioneer. He was a member of Alexander Graham Bell's Aerial Experiment Association. Unfortunately, the invitation does not include the year! The event must have taken place in either 1913 or 1919. If you have more information about this event, please contact info@aeroclub.org.
